Sorry in advance is this gets a little long or rambly or disorganized. Im not very experienced in writing these types of posts. i didnt really wanna do this but i see like 0 people talking about this aspect of the situation so..might as well
also, big ol content warning for pedophilia/CSA
So, just gonna try and cut right to the chase, this post is about hushy 4lung. specifically pertaining to the recent “callout” about her..
yeah. so this gets mentioned, but i never see anyone actually touch upon this? It seems like this is getting overshadowed by the babyfur stuff which - dont get me wrong - is really nasty stuff, but personally i think this is nastier. i have an experience that i feel can shed a little light on the subject, so im gonna try and elaborate here..
SC of disabled FA page. Notice the babyfur art in their favorites?
They’re dating laserracoon on twitter, a babyfur defender who was in 4Lung’s liked posts and tried to back her up on babyfur not being a kink or dangerous to minors.
The way people are responding to David Cage telling them that their favorite white twink isn’t gay is both infuriating and hilarious
Like you mean to tell me these people could look over literally every other issue within the game. The overt anti-black racism, the misogyny, the lesbophobia/homophobia, the fetishism of child abuse, the fact that they literally added a patch where you could own your own damn slave was all just minor inconviences to the fanbase (or outright ignored).
But it’s David Cage telling the fanbase that Conner isn’t gay is where the line is drawn.
Okay.
But David “Let’s Make The Lesbians Prostitutes in Bikinis That You Can Kill” Cage was just so trustworthy. It’s a complete shock.
You mean to tell me David “Have The White “Progressive” Tell A Black Man That He Deserves To Be A Slave” Cage is a bad guy with shit morals?
so a lot of people are pissed off and hurt and upset and that’s all completely justified. if you’re an adult with an audience that largely includes kids then this is also a really good time to be introspective. we’ve got to step up and make sure kids are safe. especially lgbt kids.
Before anyone comes at me saying “cishet people are never held accountable for fucking up, why are you putting the pressure on lgbt people?” first, that’s not true lol and second, because these are kids who are way less likely to have a role model at home or on tv or anywhere else. you’re their role model. you could be their only role model.
i know a lot of people dont ask for this level of responsibility, but if you’re an adult with a large, young audience, then the responsibility is yours whether you like it or not. you need to either step up or make it clear that you’re not okay with having your content seen or heard by kids.
“but teens will seek out nsfw material on their own!” okay, but it’s not your place to introduce them to it, directly or no. it’s not your place to have this kind of relationship with a kid who is looking to you as an example. if you’re a nsfw blog MAKE THAT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR. tag nsfw. put 18+ in your bio. even if you only post nsfw stuff occasionally, say that your posts might be nsfw. enough of this “well they found it on their own so its not my fault” baloney bullcrap.
if you have a discord server that kids go on, make sure it is really, really well-moderated. make sure its 1000% sfw. if you need to post horndog shit don’t let kids see it. written, drawn, whatever. don’t let kids see it.
and like… I know heinous shit comes out about someone every like six months at this point, and a lot of the time people were friends with this person, theyre blindsided, they’re upset, etc. i understand. please talk about it. if you can’t write your own post, share somebody else’s. make it really, really clear that we as a community of people do not condone bigotry, harassment, or the sexualization and abuse of minors. send a message to kids that these things aren’t normal and that they should feel safe and comfortable rejecting them. let kids know you’ll protect and stand up for them. and hold yourself to those standards too. we all fuck up sometimes but please have some awareness of the role you hold in a young person’s life, even if you don’t “feel” that important. you’re probably really important to someone, please don’t let them down. And if you can’t handle that, be vigilant about kids not following you.
We have to step things up here. This kind of thing is happening way too often. Most of the adults on here were teens not so long ago, but now you’re the grown up. You need to take that seriously.
Britney Spears invented anime in 2007 for her music video, Break the Ice, from her Blackout album. Anime is an animation style that exaggerates the size of the eyes and typically only represents the nose through its shadow. This animation style became incredibly popular in Japan, in part because the nation wasn’t large enough to provide the studio space required to create live-action films. Popular anime films include My Neighbor Totoro, Pokemon: The First Movie, and The Animatrix.
Britney Spears did not invente anime for shit you idiot. It was created in the 1980s, please shut the fuck up.
no im pretty sure britney spears created anime she was actually a huge inspiration for the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion look it up
If you seriously say that fucking Britney Spears invented anime, you need to get other internet connection besides tumblr and whitegirlsarealwaysright.com because I think that’s where you are getting your dumb-ass information.
britney spears invented anime and in fact founded japan
If you would report an undocumented immigrant to ICE you would have reported me to the Nazis and I don’t fucking trust you
A note:
I live in a state where you “have to” report anyone you suspect of being undocumented (that wonderful hellhole of Arizona). Now in practice this law has fallen far short, thank goodness. But if you live in such a place and they start enforcing it, here is how you get around it:
Assume everyone who doesn’t speak English is visiting.
Never ask about their job, because if they tell you they work here then you know they’re not visiting. You see them a lot for several weeks or months? Hm. Someone in the family must be ill. That’s terribly tough. They always dress in old, ratty laborers’ clothes? I feel you, my dude, I can’t afford new clothes either, and my dad has the fashion sense of an aardvark, so sometimes it’s not even about “affording” them. They say they’ve been here for years? You must have misunderstood. Spanish isn’t your first language, after all. First and last name? It never came up, or you don’t recall–you meet a lot of people.
And then, if you’re asked: no, you haven’t seen anyone residing illegally in the United States. Just people visiting.
